HPM Academy: Mentoring

The Academy is delivering a mentoring programme for HR, OD and workforce to develop capability of HR professionals as part of the wider NHSL mentoring programme

Potential mentors and mentees  go through a selection process using NHS London’s ‘Mentor Tracker’, an on-line tool to match mentors and mentees

A wide range of senior HR, OD and workforce professionals are now registered as mentors and we are encouraging more mentees to sign up and invite someone to be their mentor.

It is envisaged that mentees may also have the opportunity to shadow their mentor and work with their mentors on small projects or attending events and networking opportunities. e.g. a Board meeting, a team away-day, a visit with their mentor, a conference, a training opportunity.

Mentees can also choose a non-HR mentor to increase knowledge of the business.To become a mentor or a mentee go to: www.london.nhs.uk/mentoring
