Employee Wellbeing - Getting Results 29 May 9.00 to 13.00
Delivered by Work and Wellbeing
Do you need to set up a well-being programme but don’t know where to start?
or
Have you got a well-being programme underway that’s not getting the results you expected?
Attend our practical training session to set you on the right track to an effective approach that delivers healthier and more productive employees.
Unlike conventional HR and Well-Being conferences, this unique half-day workshop will give you the tried and tested, practical basics to establish an approach that really tackles the health and wellness needs of your people.
No matter what your budget, our simple step-by-step process will enable you to devise and implement an effective plan that will deliver you the results that you want.
Divided into three sessions, the workshop will enable you to:
1. Avoid the basic pitfalls that spoil so many well-being programmes
2. Calculate the real costs of impaired health and wellness in your organisation
3. Pull together existing management data to inform your plans that are
evidence-based
4. Design a balanced approach between preventative and remedial actions that give you the best return
5. Critically evaluate your programme's progress against objectives that you can deliver on
The session will be led by Dr Bridget Juniper of Work and Well-Being Ltd. Frustrated with existing approaches, she has designed this exclusive training programme based on her research, best practice and hands-on experience of well-being programmes that really work.

Inspire Masterclass, with Ingrid Lacey and Sally Edwards from Face to Face
Tuesday 29th May 2012
9:00 – 13:00, The Hellenic Centre, 16-18 Paddington Street, London, W1U 5AS
A Masterclass for leaders of the NHS and its partners: how to develop your personal impact.
Nothing impresses as much as someone who can connect with others simply through the power of their ideas and words. Inspire has been designed to give people the vocal and physical skills that will let them communicate impressively and memorably. Our techniques can be put into practice immediately. This session is practical, empowering and fun.
Ingrid Lacey and Sally Edwards, the creators of Face to Face, are actresses. We believe in making the most of a person's natural abilities. People are able to develop without compromising their individuality. We enable our clients to show themselves at their best; comfortable, confident and in control.
Voice and body language are key to achieving effective personal impact. Facial expression, gesture and body language account for 55% of the impact we make, tone of voice 38% and our actual words a mere 7%. In this fascinating session, participants will learn how to master these powerful subliminal aspects of communication. You will be given techniques used by performers that will give you control. By harnessing the power of body language and voice you will discover a whole new range of options. The results are impressive and very fast.
This event is free and open to anyone working within the NHS in London.
Registration is now open. Please email Kashmira.sunni@london.nhs.uk to book your place. Places are available on a first come first served basis.
Please note: there will be £100 non-attendance fee for those who have registered for the event and do not attend on the day.
