Following a national council meeting on 21st May, Paul Beal has been appointed as the branch chair of HPMA South Central network. Paul is currently the managing director of a HR & OD consultancy working into the NHS. Paul has a wealth of NHS experience having worked as an Executive Director of HR & OD. He was previously Executive Director of Workforce & OD at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre NHS Trust and Brent PCT. More recently he has been Interim Executive Director of Organisational Development at Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Bedford Hospital NHS Trust.
Paul said:
‘I am delighted to have been appointed as the Chair of the South Central network. I intend to shape the network to provide support to the HR community to deal with the challenges facing the NHS. We will re-launch the network in the early autumn with a membership event with workshops and speakers to support the changing NHS workforce landscape. ’
