An interactive Writing skills workshop, delivered by Richard Walker

The session focuses on how to write with clarity, persuasion and impact. Topics include the principles of effective writing, prioritising information, and applying logic and reasoning.

 

Summary

The session focuses on three main areas:

•             Business writing skills

•             Report writing

•             Writing business cases

The workshop covers the principles of good writing, how to structure effective reports, and how to produce compelling business cases. Attendees will also learn how to apply report writing methods to help prioritise and order information to best effect.

 

Facilitator

The workshop is delivered by Richard Walker who is a business writer and marketer as well as a professional trainer. His background includes senior marketing roles with Microsoft and EDS (now HP) where he authored numerous reports, business cases, and successful proposals. He has delivered numerous writing courses to the NHS to reviews such as these:
