Welsh Branch Conference 2004:
-
Synopsis of Welsh Conference, Janet Wilkinson, Welsh Branch Chair
It's not what you do, it's the way that you do it.....
..That's what gets results!
That was the theme for this year's conference, which focused on what makes people-management key to the delivery of high quality healthcare services. The over-arching message was to explore not only how you can become more effective in driving forward the HR agenda but also in managing your own personal and professional development.
Another record breaking attendance, together with a well received key note speech from Professor Lord Robert Winston, followed by a booksigning and two great days of workshops, culminating in a spectacular evening at the Millennium Stadium with Tom Jones (well almost!) made for a very successful conference.
