A seminar looking at the challenge of hidden disabilities, hosted by Design Group.
“Hidden disabilities” are a wide range of physical and mental conditions that are not readily visible or immediately apparent. They include conditions such as dyslexia, autism, diabetes, epilepsy and depression. Although such disabilities create challenges for those that have them and can significantly affect their everyday life, they can be very hard for other people to recognise. Further, employees may be reluctant to disclose to their employer they have a disability, often due to a perceived stigma. The likelihood is that many workplaces have employees with hidden disabilities.
The session will be held on Wednesday 29th July, starting at 2pm and will last for approximately 120 minutes. Delegates can submit questions in advance or add them during the webinar. If you would like to submit a question in advance, please email it to carol.o’email@example.com
Joining instructions will be sent out prior to the webinar.
Priority will be given to members of the North West HPMA branch.
