Webinar: Values and Recruitment in Adult Social Care – Wednesday 23rd June at 4pm

An exploration of the approach to and impact of implementing a values-based approach to recruitment in the adult social care sector.

Presented in collaboration with The PrOPEL Hub, Professor Carol Atkinson and colleagues from Manchester Metropolitan University Business School will share their experiences of delivering Values Based Recruitment training to line managers in the adult social care sector as part of an ESRC funded research project.

The team will reflect on the rationale for using values-based recruitment, and lessons learned from participants’ exploration and implementation of VBR for the social care sector and beyond. Aimed at policy-makers and practitioners, the session offers a space for open discussion of VBR in the adult social care sector.

Speaker Biography:  Carol Atkinson is Professor of Human Resource Management at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School and is the Faculty’s Head of Research and Knowledge Exchange.

This event will be held on Wednesday 23rd June starting at 4pm and will last for approximately 90 minutes and will include the opportunity to ask questions.  Delegates can submit questions in advance or add them during the webinar.  If you would like to submit a question in advance, please email it to admin@hpma.org.uk
