We would all like to have them, yet some conversations leave us with feelings that are quite the opposite and cause us to not be at our best when we do. This can have knock on effects to our credibility, relationships, and confidence in the future.
In this session we’ll briefly explore two areas that make a big difference:
- What we can do before we ever have a challenging conversation which means we have a strong influential relationship to draw on
- Ways to have challenging conversations that have a positive impact where we communicate clearly and with confidence
We’ll keep things interactive, practical, and pacey. Drawing upon an engaging coaching style to work with you as a group and to encourage you to contribute and share good practice with others.
Pre session activity
Prior to joining the session, please reflect upon and make your own notes about:
- What conversations you find more challenging to have
- What is it that makes them more challenging for you? (The person and their behaviours? The nature of what you’re discussing? Self doubt? Their position/seniority? How you anticipate they’ll react?
This event will be held on Tuesday 14th December starting at 1pm and will last for approximately 60 minutes and will include the opportunity to ask questions.
Joining instructions will be sent out 24 hours prior to the event.
