Webinar : Self Care Power Hour – Tuesday 8th February at 12.30pm

Presented by Marion Hewitt at Protea Solutions

Why this workshop is valuable?

We all need to look after ourselves, making sure that we build and replenish our personal resources to do everything else!  This is particularly important when in roles that involve supporting others.

Over the last couple of years, we have faced and overcome many challenges, some of which continue, including learning to live with greater uncertainty.  Many of these things have an impact on our wellbeing.  At an individual level, each of us experienced this in different ways.

As time goes on, many of us find it more challenging as our resources are depleted.  Therefore, it is vitally important to prioritise our well-being and rebuild these resources.  Sadly, although most people know this to be important, many don’t prioritise it. This workshop is designed to address this mismatch.

During this practical and participative workshop, participants will:

  • Increase understanding of psychological (mental) wellbeing and the impact of stress
  • Identify simple ways to help overcome obstacles to prioritising self-care
  • Know that self-care is not a luxury, but a priority, to ensure we have the physical and mental resources we need to do everything else.
