The FutureFocus Workforce: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion event with event partner Bright Horizons took place on Tuesday 14 September. We were delighted to welcome Professor Anton Emmanuel as our keynote speaker. Anton is Lead of the Workforce Race Equality Standard, NHS England and NHS Improvement and Interim joint Director of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, NHS England and NHS Improvement. He is Professor and Consultant NeuroGastroenterologist UCL, UCLH & NHNN, Medical Director of Publishing, Royal College of Physicians and Editor-in-Chief Clinical Medicine and Commentary. Huge thanks to all our speakers including Ricky Somal, Deputy Director of OD and Inclusion, Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust who chaired the event for HPMA.
