The Healthcare People Management Association is the professional voice of people professionals in health and care.

Established 50 years ago, we now have over 12,000 members ranging from HR directors and deputy directors through to trusts and ICBs.

Our aim is to support and develop the people profession to improve the people management contribution in healthcare and ultimately improve patient care.

We have a strong branch network that covers the whole of the UK, and we set and promote the highest standards in People Practices.

HPMA’s new CEO

The HPMA Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Rogers as the Chief Executive of HPMA. Julie succeeds Tracy Hill who acted as interim CEO since the resignation of Nicky Ingham in October 2023.

A chartered fellow of the CIPD, Julie has worked in the Welsh public sector for four decades.

She has enjoyed a varied career in Government and the NHS, working with colleagues and national bodies across the UK, spanning a wide range of social policy, OD and workforce roles…
