Yorkshire & The Humber
The HPMA Yorkshire and Humber Branch has been developing over the last few years, as a result of the support and dedication of its existing and new committee members. The branch covers a large geographical area, with committee membership representation from across all parts of the region. Meetings are held monthly with support provided by Hempsons Solicitors in Harrogate, who have a key relationship with our branch.
We are committed to supporting the continuing professional development of the whole people profession and hope our events programme appeals to all. We would welcome any future suggestions for events, as we want to ensure everyone has an opportunity.
Our plan for the year ahead includes:
- Continued support and development for People professionals in the region, through a mix of events and complementing the national HPMA offer. Including an annual face to face event, to give an improved experience and increasing networks and contacts
- Continuing to offer high quality and interesting events to the People community at good value and widening the audience to the whole people profession rather than purely ‘HR’
- Supporting the creation and development of the North Academy
- Continuing to engage with Chief People Officers/Deputies in the future planning with regular updates and attendance at network meetings
- Have some fun at the same time!
The branch has a programme of events for our members. As new events are confirmed, these are promoted via social media, through HPMA National, and through our regional Chief People and Deputy Chief People Officer networks.
