Celebrate 50 Years of HPMA – Join Us to Explore The Future of HR with KPMG UK!

In celebration of the HPMA’s remarkable 50-year journey, we are delighted to invite you to a special event we are hosting in partnership with KPMG UK to explore The Future of HR.
In this event for senior people professionals across the NHS, we will consider what it’s like to work in the people profession right now and what we can expect to see on the horizon in light of a new government, changing societal context, and expectations from our workforce.
The session will be hosted by Julie Rogers, CEO of the HMPA, and James Devine, UK Lead for Healthcare Workforce at KPMG UK, who was recently named HR’s Most Influential Practitioner 2024 by HR Magazine. James will be joined by Nate Price-Whittle, Associate Director at KPMG and a former Director of OD in the NHS who is currently studying for a professional doctorate in evidence-based HR practice.
We are delighted to confirm that Jenny Allen and Laura Smith, joint Chief People Officers at Leeds Community Healthcare and immediate past vice presidents of HPMA Yorkshire and the Humber branch, will present as part of our spotlight and panel session. They will share their unique experience as job-share CPOs and their perspectives on the future of the profession, as well as highlighting their pioneering work.
While this event is aimed at senior people professionals working in CPO, Deputy CPO and Associate director roles, in the spirit of the Future of HR, you are welcome to share this invite with future HR leaders in your organisation working at HRBP and in ‘Head of’ roles.
