We’re Hiring: Development Director – HPMA London & South East Academy (deputising for CEO)
Are you passionate about shaping the future of the people profession in healthcare? We’re looking for an experienced, values-led Development Director to join HPMA, working alongside our CEO and the London & South East Academy.
In this pivotal senior role, you’ll:
✅ Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of our development programme
✅ Support and inspire our community of Healthcare People Professionals
✅ Engage members, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen our academy’s impact
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the people profession, both regionally and nationally.
Part-time (30 hours/week, flexible across 4 or 5 days)
£74,290 – £85,601 (pro rata) | NHS Band 8c equivalent
Home-based with some travel
Open to secondment, fixed-term, or permanent contracts
You’ll bring a strong background in people development (FCIPD or equivalent, Master’s degree), strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to empowering others.
